Patrick Rea’s PILLOW FRIGHT to screen at PLFF 4!

pillowfright2Prairie Lights is stoked to announce PILLOW FRIGHT, another fantastic film by Nebraska native Patrick Rea, who has had multiple films, including NAILBITER and HOWL OF A GOOD TIME,. play at our previous fests.

In this short horror chiller, a typical pillow fight betweenpillowfright sorority sisters takes an unexpected and deadly turn.

PILLOW FRIGHT will screen during our traditional Horror Film Block and we’re glad to be bringing this high quality chiller to the big screen in Grand Island! Patrick Rea’s NAILBITER selected as the opening feature of the PLFF!

We are incredibly pleased to announce that Schulyer, Nebraska native Patrick Rea’s  award winning feature length film, NAILBITER, will open The Prairie Lights Film Festival on Friday, November 8th! Mr. Rea will be on hand for a Q&A session to discuss the creation of his film as well! From Mr. Rea’s bio:

nailbiterPatrick Rea is a prolific award-winning independent filmmaker, recognized for his innovative storytelling and creative directing style in horror and suspense. His latest feature film “Nailbiter” won Best Director and/or Best Feature Film awards in several film festivals in 2012, including Shriekfest, Chicago Fear Fest and AMC Theaters KC Film Fest. “Nailbiter” was patrickreareleased on May 28th through Lionsgate Home Entertainment on DVD/VOD and Digital Downloads. It is currently in the Redbox nationwide.
