Prairie Lights is stoked to announce that Ryan Hovland’s A VERY UNMERRY EARLY NOVEMBER will screen at PLFF! Here’s a bit about the film:
A Christmas-loving husband, Todd, and his doting wife, Margaret, are excitedly putting up Christmas decorations when they receive an unexpected visitor who sees that they will be punished for their early efforts. A very unmerry slapstick chase and confrontation occur with Todd having to make a difficult choice.
A Very Unmerry Early November was produced at the Johnny Carson School of Theater and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The cast and crew were completely comprised of Film, Design, and Performance students from UNL and almost all of the individuals involved are Nebraska natives. The project was filmed entirely in Omaha, Nebraska and all other aspects of production were completed in Nebraska.
