Prairie Lights is stoked to announce that Donald Dodge’s A.E. WELLS – A MAN AND HIS PARK will screen at PLFF! Here’s a bit about the film:
Asa Wells was born in 1840’s Wisconsin, fought in a horrible Civil War, traveled the world, and lost almost every member of his family. He amassed amazing wealth and responsibility, which he took to the Northeast Nebraska Logan Valley. He helped build a struggling community and gave of himself and his fortune. One last tragedy triggered his most magnificent gift of them all, Wells Park.
