London Homer-Wambeam’s THE SURROGATE to have its Nebraska Premiere at PLFF!

Prairie Lights is stoked to announce that London Homer-Wambeam’s THE SURROGATE will have its Nebraska Premiere at PLFF!   Here’s a bit about the film:

When a pregnant punk rocker is stranded in a small town in the 1970s, she befriends a pregnant housewife. Unfortunately, both have ulterior motives.
Although shot in neighboring Wyoming, The Surrogate director London D.H. Wambeam was born and raised in Lincoln Nebraska. London’s fiancé and the sound engineer for The Surrogate, Madison Vahle, is also from Nebraska. Growing up in Nebraska undoubtedly informed conflict in the film between rural America and counter-culture.
