Darcy Bahensky’s NOW OR FOREVER to screen at PLFF!

Prairie Lights is excited to announce that Darcy Bahensky’s NOW OR FOREVER will screen at this year’s festival!  On the day of her wedding, a young bride wrestles with her own expectations in this unique short film.

The majority of the film was shot in Funk, Nebraska with a few scenes taking place in rural Orleans, Nebraska. Everyone who work on the film is from Nebraska, some University of Nebraska Students and Alumni, some community theater staples, and some working professionals in Los Angeles with Nebraska roots. Darcy, the writer/director, resides in Holdredge and is currently in production on her next short film, which will also be filmed in central Nebraska.
