Charisa Martin’s TAMARRUD to screen at this year’s PLFF!

Prairie Lights is excited to announce that Charisa Martin’s feature film TAMMARUD will screen at this year’s PLFF! Here’s the synopsis:

The CDC was supposed to help the citizens by creating Pax-A, a cure for everything. The country became divided as people got sick and overrun by the scavengers. Can the rebels find a cure or will the CDC silence them. (Some ideas and terms from the game Plague Inc by Ndemic Creations)

Charisa is a native Nebraskan from Bellevue and filmed the movie in Omaha North High School and a tunnel in the Bellevue area. A majority of the actors (Edwin Garcia, Sara Demanett, Annie Lee, Ryan LaHood, Michael Burns Jr., and Malik Fortner) are from Nebraska as well as the crew which includes, Jack Young, Amanda Atkinson, Jacob Anderson, and Ethan & Dana Nitz, and Nathan Hromanik
