Patrick Lambrecht’s THE CONTEST to World Premiere at Prairie Lights!

We’re stoked to announce the World Premiere of Patrick Lambrecht’s THE CONTEST at this year’s PLFF! Here’s some info on the film:

Cliff and Sheila return home after a wonderfully romantic afternoon together. A seemingly innocent conversation about their dinner quickly breaks down into a discussion of who has it worse, men or women. The only thing that could make this situation more akward is when Cliff picks up a notepad and decides to keep score. Who will win?

“The Contest” is produced by The Crooked Codpiece Company in association with Dream Awake Productions, directed by Patrick Lambrecht, written by Jim Hanna, and stars Thomas Crew and Sally Vandeberghe. This is Patrick Lambrecht’s third entry into the Prairie Lights Film Festival, along with “Ghost Hunter” this year and “Love Bites” in 2016. Patrick is originally from Columbus, NE and moved to Lincoln to pursue a degree in theatre. He brings with him over 30 years of theater experience in acting, directing, and design to his recently discovered love for film. Jim Hanna, a native of Lincoln, is an actor and writer that earned a theatre degree at the University of Nebraska. Jim moved to L.A., where he earned an MFA from the USC Actor Training Program. Over the years Jim has become a familiar face with countless commercial appearances, as well as many TV and film roles. He is also the creator of the web series Jeff the Cat: Merchant of Darkness.
