What would a midwestern film festival be without a Western? We’re super stoked to announce the inclusion of Michael Su’s THE ADVENTURES OF LOOP & RHETT! Tons of Nebraskans were involved in the making of this flick. This one is fun for the whole family. Here’s some info provided by the filmmakers:
Western heroes Loop and Rhett set off westward in search of revenge, finding themselves caught in several action-packed and exciting adventures along the way in this PG-Rated 1880’s Wild West Drama/Comedy. Winner of Several festival Official Selections, and winner of 13 festival awards, & 7 additional nominations, this film’s awards include Best Short Film at the 2012 Black Hills Film Festival, Several Actor awards, and Best Production Design & Award of Overall Excellence from the 2012 L.A. Movie Awards. This western, though shot in Arizona and Nevada, involved over a dozen Nebraskans ranging from playing in starring roles, Executive Producers, Art Department, Costumes, Camera Department, Crew, Supporting Roles, and Kickstarter campaign contributors.
